O Pisco-de-peito-ruivo é uma das aves mais fáceis de identificar. Geralmente observa-se saltitando pelo chão ou nos ramos baixos de uma árvore, adoptando sempre uma posição muito vertial com o corpo. Tem no peito uma grande mancha cor-de-laranja bem demarcada, que se estende até à face, as restantes partes inferiores são branco sujo e por cima é castanho uniforme. Tanto no Verão como no Inverno o Pisco-de-peito-ruivo surge, no nosso territorio, numa enorme variedade de habitats, desde que tenham algum grau de cobertura arbórea ou apenas arbustiva. Esta ave é muito vocal e pode fazer-se ouvir durante quase todo o ano. As suas vocalizações são consideravelmente variadas.
The Robin is one of the birds easier to identify. Usually it is observed skipping in the ground or in the low branches of a tree, always taking a very upright position. It has in the chest a great orange spot well demarcated, which extends to the face; the other inferior parts are dirty white and the superior parts are uniform brown. As much of summer as of winter, the Robin appears, in our territory, in a wide variety of habitats, provided that they have some degree of covarage tree or shrub only.This bird is very vocal and can make heard nearly the entire year. Their vocalizations are considerably varied.
