Uma das mais abundantes espécies de aves. O facto de coexistirem com o ser humano no mesmo meio ambiente, faz com que seja bastante fácil de serem detectados. O pardal-comum é bastante abundante ao longo do território, tanto em grandes cidades como em aldeias. Ocorre durante todo o ano, podendo formar bandos de grandes dimensões, especialmente em zonas agrícolas ou em dormitórios de parques urbanos.
It is one of the most abundant bird species. The fact that coexist with humans in the same environment, makes it quite easy to be detected. The House Sparrow is fairly abundant throughout the territory, both in large cities as in villages. Occurs throughout the year, and may form large flocks, especially in agricultural areas or in dormitories of urban parks.
