A mistura de azuis, amarelos, brancos e verdes, fazem do chapim-azul uma das aves mais atractivas. A cabeça possui um barrete azul, uma lista ocular preta e a face branca, enquadrados por um colar preto conferindo-lhe uma máscara facial típica de alguns chapins. Distribui-se por todo o território em zonas de montados, florestas mistas e alguns parques e jardins, ocorrendo durante todo o ano.
The mixture of blues, yellows, whites and greens, makes the Blue Tit one of the most attractive birds. The head has a blue cap, a black ocular list and white face, framed by a black collar, conferring to it a typical face mask of some Tits. It is distributed throughout the territory, in mountain areas, mixed forests and some parks and gardens, occurring throughout the year.
