É uma ave totalmente castanha, com padrão riscado. O seu canto pode prolongar-se ininterruptamente durante vários minutos. Durante a Primavera e o Verão, ocorre sobretudo a norte. Prefere as terras altas mas pode também ocorrer ao nível do mar. No Inverno pode ser vista especialmente em terrenos cultivados ou restolhos nas terras baixas do sul do país.
It is a completely brown bird, with scratched pattern. Their singing can continue uninterruptedly for several minutes. During spring and summer, occurs mainly in the north.
