A partir de Março, o inconfundível canto do trigueirão enche o Alentejo. Ave totalmente castanha distingue-se pelo bico grosso, pelas riscas no peito, pelas patas rosadas mas acima de tudo pelo seu canto. O trigueirão está presente durante todo o ano mas é na Primavera que se torna mais visível pelo seu repetitivo canto. Nos meses mais frios são mais discretos juntando-se em bandos em busca de alimento.
From March the unmistakable sing of Trigueirão fills the Alentejo. Total brown bird distinguishes itself by the thick beak, the stripes in the chest, the pink legs but above all by its singing. The Corn Bunting is present throughout the year but it is in spring that it becomes more visible by its repetitive singing. During the coldest months they are more discrete joining itself in flocks looking for food.
