This wader of large size has the biggest beak of our birds. Its large curved and thin beak is used to search for small invertebrates that can be found in the mud. It has the body with brownish plumage and white rump. It is a migratory bird of passage and unusual winterer. It can be observed in large estuaries and small wetlands along the coastline.
