Hello,

Yesterday we've seen the same gull in Gijón, Asturias, north Coast of Spain, with other black headed gulls.

At first was not easy read the code, as the faded yellow letters don't have much contrast over the faded red background.

Was nice find the info in your blog.

Friendly regards from Candás (Asturias - SPAIN),
Santi Serrano.

Santi Serrano.

Hello Inocêncio,

Thanks a lot for your comment.

Where exactly was the gull when observed last 6th of march?

On 06-march-2014... was also in Azurara (Vila do Conde, Portugal)?

Aprox coordinates of Azurara, taken from Google Maps, are 41°20′41″N 8°44′08″O...

Three days later, 9th of march, was in Gijón, Asturias, and exactly at 43º32'40.2"N, 05º38'42.7"O.

Straight distance between these two points are 330 km... a fly of at least 330 km in only three days... 110km each day... not so bad for a small gull :-)

Friendly regards,
Santi Serrano
