

It is one of the smallest birds with only 10 cm but it is very active. With brown color on top, light superciliar stripe and back and wings also striped, has a short and raised tailIts translated scientific name is very peculiar "inhabitant of the caves" because it has the habit to enter into cavities and cracks to hunt arthropods or to spend the night.It is very common all over the Europe because it can play a great diversity of habitats, living near the ground, prefers a good coverage of vegetation.
